Giving Reptiles A Second Chance

We have recently just started rescuing again.

Latest rehoming is 2 female leopard gecko's which came to us on the 18/07/09 which are going to be staying with us for the rest of their lives ( I have an extremely big soft spot for leopard geckos )

Luna Argus montior

Luna was brought in by Jody who sadly didn't have enough time to give her the attention she needs, luna likes to keep us on our toes and is a very lively little girl who is a wonder to watch. Luna came to us from a Marwell zoo keeper. Luna now has a new home with Rick a very experienced owner and a well known Monitor Keeper.

Thanks Rick.

Suzane Bosc monitor

Suzane was brought in because she was unable to stay in her old home due to unforeseen circumstances, She was adopted by a great couple,

She gave her new owner a lovely present when they came to pick her up in way of a cut finger lol. This didnt put them off for a second and we hope to be able to rehome reptiles with them in the future.

Snow Corn

This corn was found a new loving home with a friend up north

Thanks Candy

Voldamont Corn snake

Voldamont was brought to us by a lovely guy who could no longer give him the time he required and felt it was best for him to go to a new home

He was placed with his adoptors and is now a very lively corn

Cornelius green iggy

Cornelius was brought in to us at the end of June, he was in good health
He was successfully rehomed and is very happy with his new owners

Reptile Rescue Updates.

2 Royal Pythons both males arrived on the 31/05/07.

01/06/07 : They both had their first night with us at Second Chance. But Unfortunately looks like Male Number 2 is getting worse, Baytril is being provided for him due to his respiritory problem. Hopefully he isn't too far gone. Male Number 1 seems rather settled and is a nice lad he will be fed today to see if he will take defrosted fingers crossed that he does.

13/06/07 : Male Number 1 took he's first feed on the 10/06/07 will be ready in around two weeks. Male number 2 is picking himself up with the treatment he's been having and seems to be getting over the worst of he's respiritory problem.

Unfortunately after a lot of vet care and a heap load of TLC we are sorry to say that they both passed away, due to the conditions they were previously kept in. They just were not strong enough to survive

We thank you all for your support
